This little animation was more or less used as a stress test, to see how fast I can score something with a reasonable result. Therefore, most of what you hear are my initial ideas and not much mixing was done.
‘Des Führers Suppe’ is an animated short film by Nick Hudelmeier. It was created as a bachelor's thesis at Offenburg University. I was commissioned to compose the film music.
This track was written for a game prototype back at university, which combined 3 different genres. The brief was to make the music sound like a horror, sci-fi and western all at once, which was really fun to think about.
This little piece was also written for a small game project back at University. It had a clear setting in Egypt and was time based, so I wrote some hitpoints into the music that made sense with the gameplay.
My music always adapts to the medium and the creative vision behind it — but I still bring a signature voice you'll likely recognize. Whether I'm scoring for film, games, or other media, I aim for music that doesn't just fit a scene — it deepens it.
I love working with the orchestra, often layering in unusual instruments or electronic textures to create rich and unexpected sound worlds. Melody plays a central role in my writing. I'm especially drawn to leitmotifs — musical themes that evolve across a story, adding emotional depth and cohesion.
While orchestral scoring is my home base, I'm also comfortable blending in elements from genres like folk, pop, EDM, or rock if they support the creative direction.
Most of my music lives on YouTube, but there's plenty on SoundCloud and Spotify too. For questions or potential collaborations, any of these will reach me:
